My first piece of Fruits Basket fanart...

And what can I say?

First of all, I'm not too happy with it...I won't point out specifics, but I think its kinda sloppy. There's more to it, but if no one else realizes it, then there's no need to point them out, ne?

I tried to capture a sad feel to it...

But anyways, like always, let me know what you think!

You've drawn the characters very well... this feel is completely contrary to the mood of the series, but what the hey, right?

Kinda blotchy... I'm not entirely sure why, but parts of it seem out of focus. Oh, and if you really want the black to stand out, fill it with black digitally.

Yeah...my scanner is one of those cheap kinds that came free with our computer...but hey, take what you can get, right?

i'm going to try to scan it a little better...the black isn't nearly as awkward looking in the original...at least I'd like to think it doesn't ^_^

I wanted this picture to sort of capture the darker side of the series, because the darker side is present. So that's why its kinda sad...

But my next one is going to be happier! I just don't know when I'm going to start it...this one gave me one heck of a headache...

It's lovely, though I have no idea about if they match the characters from the anime (never seen it) Though, knowing you, I'm sure they are perfect matches! Or better done than the origionals! ^_^

This is a nice peice (sp? I'm a terrible speller. I'm sorry!). The only critique I have is the boy in the back stands out a bit too much. Maybe you were going for that but It still looks kind of strange. Great concept!

The one that's smaller and full-bodied? I kind of wanted him to stand out...he's off by himself because he's alone...something like that ^_^;;;

Yeah, I doubted someone would do it on accident. Maybe you should do something because it looks a tad bit glaring. I really like this overall peice, though. I just feel sort of like I should give a critique because you asked for one on the forums, ;). Keep up the nice work. I remember looking at your stuff before. You're good.
